Your tasks:
- Lead and manage all hotel kitchen operations, both strategically and operationally
- Develop creative and seasonal menus
- Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen workflows
- Lead, motivate, and train the kitchen team
- Monitor and ensure compliance with hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
- Plan and control purchasing activities and inventory levels
- Maintain consistently high food quality standards
- Oversee and support the training and development of apprentices
- Drive and inspire the team to maintain or improve our 14 GaultMillau points
What you should bring with you:
- Completed vocational training as a chef
- Professional experience in the hotel and hospitality industry
- A structured, organized, and creative approach to work
- Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
- Resilience, reliability, and the ability to work independently
- A team-oriented mindset with a passion for gastronomy
- A service-focused personality with a keen eye for detail and precision
- Good command of German and English
- Professional experience in Switzerland
